The packaging features a bold, simple approach to catch consumers’ attention. The beer name and colors embark on a California vibe in poppy gold and blue. Continue reading
“We produce a broad spectrum of beers and tend to be known for our higher strength offerings,” comments Don Oliver, Brewmaster. “We chose to play to our strengths and set our seltzer apart from the mainstream with a higher ABV and focus on the single-serve and draft packages. The Cherry Lemon Lime recipe was popular with our brewing team and very well received in our taprooms.”
The “Thirty Three” branding refers to 1933, the year prohibition ended. The eye-catching but simple label features the tagline, “Celebrating Repeal Day Every Day” as an added layer of brand messaging for the seltzer. The Cherry Lemon Lime flavor comes from a hand-crafted blend of cherry and Meyer lemon juice concentrates coupled with natural flavors. The result is a light, refreshing hard seltzer with just a hint of pink color in the beverage. Continue reading

With a planned collaboration in the works for nearly three years, Karl and Burgeon finally came together to do what they do best: brew the cleanest, most hop-forward West Coast IPA fathomable. With four R&D brews in the books, both breweries are confident the final release was brewed to absolute hoppy perfection.
“Our admiration for Burgeon has been long standing. We have a great deal of respect for their meticulous approach to brewing, recipe creation, and their quality control process. Additionally, their team is well known for brewing some of the tastiest IPAs in San Diego, so when we decided to lock in our 2022 collaborators, we knew immediately we wanted to create something together.” – Paul Segura, Brewmaster, Karl Strauss Brewing Company Continue reading

Known for his expertise in brewing high-alcohol beers, Brewmaster Don Oliver shares some thoughts on his latest Mega intro, “When we first released Supine Mega IPA in 2020, I had already started on the recipe for Prone. The triple dry-hopped Mega IPA should satisfy the fans of big beers with huge hop character.”
Prone is expected to hit retailer shelves in April primarily in California and parts of Nevada. The bright orange and green label mimics the popular Supine label, but Prone naturally showcases tigers in the prone position. Continue reading
