Pints with Purpose: International Bird Rescue

These photos were taken Thursday evening at Smog City Brewing Company, where they held their weekly Pints with Purpose fundraiser; this month the beneficiary is International Bird Rescue, a global leader in responding to man-made disasters affecting wildlife, such as oil spills and marine debris.

Every Thursday in March, Smog City will donate a portion of their gross daily receipts to the International Bird Rescue, which has a San Pedro location.

This month Smog City is giving you something additional to do while enjoying their fine brews, they are having a coloring contest. The entries will be accepted on March 1, 8, 15 and 22 only; finished coloring sheets will be placed on the wall in the Torrance tasting room for consideration. Entrants are encouraged to self promote; on Thursday, March 29 at 6:30 PM, a winner will be selected by the Smog City and International Bird Rescue staff.

The winner must be present to collect the prize which is a free tour for three at the Bird Rescue, a Smog City growler with a penny fill, and special Bird Rescue merchandise prize. You must be 21 to claim the growler/beer but no age restriction or purchase required to enter the coloring competition, so put your kids to work. Your name must be on the coloring page to win and you must be present on March 29th at 6:30 PM when the winner is announced. If the winner is not present, they will select runner ups until a winner is found.

Smog City Brewing is located at 1901 Del Amo Boulevard in Torrance and their tasting room is dog friendly. Cheers!
