Burnin’ Daylight 4th Anniversary Photos

These photos were taken Saturday afternoon at Burnin’ Daylight Brewing Company in Lomita, where the brewpub celebrated their fourth anniversary. The free-to-attend event featured 15 of their beers on tap, including their Burn Four Anniversary IPA, kitchen specials and live music by Vibe Tribe.

I have to admit, as I was uploading these photos to my hard drive, I could not figure out how I had somehow missed attending their second and third anniversary, then I remembered; COVID. I am guessing lockdowns prevented the second anniversary, and I know someone incorrectly advised me that nothing was scheduled last year. No matter, I made it yesterday and was immediately reminded of how much fun Burnin’ Daylight events are.

I arrived around 1:00 PM and there had to be close to 200 people there already. Luckily, Burnin’ Daylight really knows how to take advantage of their parking lot, with a couple large tents providing cover and plenty of seating outdoors to compliment the indoor and sidewalk seating that is always available.

In addition to the outdoor seating, they had a couple jockey boxes set up providing eight of their brews, and a popup kitchen serving up tacos and quesadillas.

For entertainment, Vibe Tribe provided a variety of songs from such bands as The Eagles, Steely Dan, Credence Clearwater, Tom Petty, The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. They were definitely rocking and had people of all ages up and dancing.

All in all, it was another great time at Burnin’ Daylight, and I am sure the throngs that came out would agree. Congratulations to Bob, Shannon, Brendan and the entire Burnin’ Daylight crew on putting on a great event and for four years of great beer. Cheers!
