These photos were taken Thursday evening at the soon to be open Hermosa Brewing Company in Torrance, where they held a friends and family soft open in preparation of their grand opening, which should happen within the next couple of weeks.
The event featured burgers from Proudly Serving, live music by Righteous and The Soul, and of course, plenty of Hermosa Brewing Company beer, with 11 taps available.
They say a picture is worth 1,000 words, so I will let the photos do most of the talking but if last night’s attendance was any indication of how popular they will be at this new location, they have nothing to worry about; it was very crowded. I cannot imagine how many people would have been there if they had actually made this event public.
As they are not officially open yet, I won’t publicize the address until we get close to the grand opening, but they are on Del Amo, just west of Western, pretty much dead center between Smog City and Monkish Brewing. I will give the address (if you can’t find it) when I announce the grand opening.
Congratulations to Dave and Jorge, I have no doubt that this expansion will be a good thing for Hermosa Brewing, the Torrance beer scene, and the South Bay beer scene overall. Cheers!
