These photos were taken Saturday, April 29, at HopSaint Brewing Company in Torrance, where, for the first time ever, they celebrated their [seventh] anniversary with a party. The event featured music, tacos, an anniversary beer and free commemorative glassware.
Since I had already committed to the 2nd Annual Halfway to Halloween Hootenanny, and both events were scheduled for pretty much the same time (noon to 5:00 for the Hootenanny; noon to 4:00 for HopSaint) it meant I was going to have to hustle to cover both events. As a result I only got about 90 minutes at HopSaint, but it was obvious that I missed a lot of people.
While it may have been the first time HopSaint has thrown an anniversary party, they did it with style by giving the first 500 people a commemorative glass complete with a beer to go along with it.
They also released four new beers, including their 7th Anniversary Triple IPA, Batch 024 barrel-aged imperial stout, Just Peachy wild ale, and Wild Mission wild ale.
Congratulations to Steve, Brian, and Christina on seven years of great food and beer, and to all the staff for putting on a fun event. Cheers!
