King Harbor Brewing Village Tap Room Now Open

These photos were taken Thursday evening at King Harbor Brewing Company’s new satellite tasting room located in the Riviera Village area of Redondo Beach.

Redondo Beach’s first, and so far only, production brewery has announced that their dominance of Redondo is nearing completion with the opening of their second satellite tasting room, thus creating their own Beermuda Triangle.

Those of you that attended the Riviera Summer Festival last weekend and were paying attention, may have noticed that the King Harbor Village Tap Room had opened their doors for a “very soft” soft opening; apparently it was very well received by those that did notice. Thursday evening’s soft open was primarily a friends and family event, but a sandwich board was placed outside so those strolling by were aware that the doors were now open and the taps were flowing.

It was requested that I kept quiet about last weekend’s soft open, but I am now permitted to announce to the world that the “official soft open” has now begun.

The new tasting room accommodates 49 patrons and currently has 14 taps available.

Located at 1719 S. Catalina in Redondo Beach, the dog friendly location has set this weekend’s hours as 3:00 PM to midnight on Friday, Saturday 12:00 PM to midnight, and noon to 8:00 PM on Sunday. It is my understanding that they plan on being open seven days a week, right away. You should follow their Instagram or Facebook pages for updates as far as they are concerned.

As it is their soft open, I did not notice and growlers, cans, or bottles available for take-out, but they should all be coming soon. Cheers!
